Choosing the right drink for diet is a wise thing to do to help your diet. Sometimes, we do not notice that the drink we drink everyday is the main cause of our diet failure. See what is inside your drink.
What comes in your mind when you see popping up soda from soda can in the afternoon? Yes, fresh and full of spirit! However, do you know that soda contains high calories? Besides, soda does not have any nutrient contents (vitamin or mineral) and it has high contents of sugar, carbon dioxide, acid, and additive color. These will damage your health if you consume them repeatedly.
- Plain Water
Changing soda into plain water will help you to reduce calorie intake. Drinking at least 2 glasses of plain water before eating will help you to reduce your desire to eat too much when you are hungry. Plain water also functions to make your digestive function work well. You can defecate easily to help your diet program and remove unused food residues from your digestive system. Drink at least 8 glasses of plain water a day to help your weight reduction program.
- Fruit Juice
Fruit juice has almost the same calorie as soda. It depends on the amount of sugar or fake sweetener you put into the juice. Since it is made of fruits, the vitamin inside is higher than the calorie. Try to not add sugar if you want to drink fruit juice during your diet.
- Energized Drink
Many kinds of energized drinks are sold in the market. It is not different from soda since it provides you high calorie intake from the sugar. Although there are some vitamins and mineral inside, you need to limit avoid drinking this kind of beverage if you are on a diet.
- Black Coffee
When you need a little “touch” of caffeine, then coffee is the answer. Coffee is better than soda is. Black coffee is a calorie-free drink, which is rich in antioxidant content, of course as long as you drink it plainly without sugar addition. A research found that drinking black coffee in a medium amount could increase the spirit and concentration as well as reducing the risk of type 2 diabetes and slow down the growth of cancerous cell.
- Green Tea
This is a popular drink for you who are on a diet program. In every cup of green tea consists of 120-240 mg polyphenols, which function as antioxidants and they are believed to reduce your body weight and make your digestion run well.
It is going to be wise if you are thirsty and want something fresh, you keep choosing healthy drink. Be careful in choosing the food or the drink on your diet program will make your diet fail.
